Three generations of experience
Company founder and President, Dan Burdick is a 2nd generation locksmith that grew up in the industry working alongside his father and 3 brothers.
Dan's father, Daryl Burdick started Burdick's Locksmith Services in Seattle Washington in 1959. Working out of his home at first with his wife Arlene fielding the calls and bookkeeping aspects of the business, Daryl soon opened his new storefront in Seattle's Columbia city neighborhood.
Dan's brother, Tim Burdick operates Burdick's Security in Seattle just a few blocks away from where the first Burdick's Locksmith Service opened back in 1959.
Dan Burdick’s four sons are third generation locksmiths, beginning with Dustin, Kip, James and Paul.
Dustin Burdick is our security technician, working for Burdick’s Locksmith for over 12 years specializing in commercial hardware and software installations. Dustin’s main expertise is in camera and access control systems.
Kip Burdick is our licensed professional locksmith specializing in residential and commercial installations along with automotive hardware repair and automobile emergency openings. Kip has over 9 years experience in Burdick’s Locksmith installing hardware and serving customers in our shop.
